Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates key activities throughout the operations team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs Industrial Engineering workout throughout the plant.
- Conducts time studies and create Yamazumi charts.
- Manages ERP data including time standards and process routers
- Drive lean manufacturing methods into the organization and create heavy focus on the elimination of non-value add activities.
- Develop and facilitate lean training and identify kaizen opportunities.
- Promote Plan, Do, Check, Act problem solving and develop effective problem solving culture.
- Leads cross functional operational readiness process for New Product Introductions.
- Tracks and oversees open tasks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Generate reports for transparent accountability.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Power BI experience is a preferred.
- Project Management experience is required.
- PMP certification is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare budgets and records.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
