Job Description
Required:
- 4-6 years of operations experience, out of which 3 years are in an Industrial Engineering role or an adjacent role
- Technical skills: AutoCAD and Excel intermediate
- Soft skills: communication across various levels of the organization such as supervisors, engineers, technicians, trainers, etc. Experience leading project specific core teams were core team members are peers
- Examples of IE experience: manufacturing floor layouts, line balance, time studies, material delivery process development and maintenance, value stream mapping, process improvement
Plus:
- Med devices industry experience
- Technical skills: Simulations (Arena, Simul8, etc), Excel advanced
- Soft skills: communication to leadership managers and director level
Industrial Engineer: Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
