Job Description
- Primarily focused on lean and continuous improvement efforts for a 120k square-foot facility
- Reducing lead times, cost, and improving profitability for the organization
- Establishing base line metrics for multiple product lines – labor and material cost/unit, lead time, velocity, and first-pass yield
- Developing and presenting a list of technology or process changes to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Helping to execute projects to reduce cost and reduce lead time over time
- Assisting with failure analysis and resolutions of any product failures
- 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Experience training teams on lean fundamentals
- History of improving safety, quality, and costs for manufacturing environments
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
- Industrial Engineering degree is preferred or similar engineering degree
- Experience with startup production operations or new product manufacturing
- Understanding of product quality, component quality, and process deficiencies
- $90K - $110K
- Bonus target of 10% of salary
