Description:Job Summary:
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and labor-intensive activities. Develop and implement plans for improvement.
Potential Travel Requirements: 10% Domestic: 95% International: 5%
Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:
- Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements and technological upgrades that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform ergonomic studies to develop and implement safer and easier work methods.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping and develop actionable strategies to improve processes.
- Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
- Design the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
- Monitor production flows and recommend optimal solutions for production flow.
- Train staff for new processes and provide procedures, instructions, and manuals.
- Self-motivated, open minded, detail-oriented individual
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:Educational Requirements/Degree(s):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
Job Requirements/Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
- Background in Lean and 5S priciples
- Strong math skills and ability to perform structural calculations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
