Job Description
- Facilitate production and business process kaizen events to improve quality, cost, delivery, and safety
- Develop and apply lean tools knowledge such as line balancing, mistake proofing, value stream mapping, changeover reduction, statistical data analysis, pull systems, standard work, and line flow design.
- Develop and apply knowledge of product design, production, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities across the value stream
- Lead projects requiring problem-solving or process improvement roadmaps and tools
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional workstation and line design projects to reduce work content, improve line flow, and optimize space requirements for equipment and people
- Promote lean culture and operational excellence principles across the site
- Establish labor standards for product costing
- Facilitate Lean training for employees at all levels and departments
- Continually build and apply technical knowledge discovered through benchmarking and continuing education opportunities
- Special Skills: Autodesk CAD, MiniTab, VBA (Visual Basic), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerAutomate, Visio, Project), Lean Tools
- Minimum BA degree in Industrial Engineering plus 12 months of experience as an Industrial Engineer
