Position Summary:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment. Ensure safety by observing the local, state, and national electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work. Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of our industrial equipment with minimal machinery downtime
- Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects
- Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes
- Correctly interprets detailed technical documents, schematics, and instructions for proper execution of assignments
- Conducts quality assurance measures and inspections
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with trade school diploma or actively working towards
- Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program, or journeyman experience highly preferred
- Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations
- Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
- Must be able to handle physically-demanding tasks
Physical Environment:
Manufacturing plant environment. Frequent bending, lifting, stooping, climbing. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals—including allergen ingredients such as nuts and eggs.
