This is A SKILLED LEVEL POSITION working to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in an industrial plant and will coordinate with outside contractors on electrical projects. The job requires that the employee be able to work safely and follow safety rules. Employee must be dependable, able to follow instructions and directions, according to established operating procedures.
Hourly rate: This is a tiered role, starting at Level 1, paying $30.58/hour with the opportunity to progress to a Level 2 paying $33.64/hour.
· Diagnose, troubleshot and repair all electrical equipment and motors
· Design and install new electrical systems and system modifications
· Check and calibrate process control instrumentation throughout plant
· Annual inspection and cleaning of motor control centers and electrical switchgear
· Make adjustments to electrical parts of equipment and control systems where needed
· Coordinate with outside contractors on electrical projects
· Program and install programmable logic controllers
· Follow NFPA 70E electrical safety in the workplace standards
· Comprehend electrical schematics and blueprints
· Monthly inspection of ISO temperature checks for ovens
· Annual inspection for shorts in breakers, wiring and supervise testing for arc flash
