Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment within our industrial facilities. Your expertise will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Design: Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, circuits, and components for industrial machinery and equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems.
Project Management: Lead Electrical Engineering projects from concept to completion. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Automation and Controls: Design and implement control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Ensure electrical systems and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations, such as NFPA, NEC, and OSHA guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical designs, modifications, and maintenance activities. Create technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, maintenance personnel, and production teams, to resolve technical issues and improve overall equipment performance.
Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities for energy conservation and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to maintenance staff and operators on electrical systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain one.
- X+ years of experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
