Compensation Philosophy:

Our compensation packages are designed to attract and retain top engineering talent. We offer competitive salaries aligned with industry standards and the cost of living in New York.

  • Alignment with Company Strategy: Our compensation ranges are carefully crafted to align with our overall company strategy. This means we diligently analyze market compensation data relevant to our industry and decide on target percentiles for each role. Our approach ensures that the compensation not only reflects the value of each position within our organization but also aligns with our goals and growth trajectories.
  • Role and Skillset Consideration: We recognize the uniqueness of each role and the specific skillsets they require. For instance, we might target higher percentiles for roles critical to our technological innovation, such as Controls Engineers, reflecting the premium we place on these skills. Conversely, for roles where the market is more balanced, like in administrative functions, our aim might be around the median percentile.
  • Geographic and Local Market Considerations: Understanding that cost of living and market rates vary geographically, our compensation packages are tailored to reflect these differences. We leverage local vs. geographic differential market data to ensure our salaries are competitive and fair, no matter where our employees are based.
  • Internal and External Equity: A cornerstone of our compensation philosophy is maintaining internal and external equity. This means we regularly adjust our salary ranges based on internal employee compensation data and market changes to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Transparent and Inclusive Approach: Transparency is key in our compensation philosophy. We ensure that our ranges are clear, inclusive of various compensation components like base salary, potential bonuses, stock options, and other benefits. This approach fosters trust and clarity among current and potential employees.
  • Adaptable and Dynamic: Our compensation strategy is not static; it's dynamic and adaptable. We continuously monitor market trends, organizational needs, and employee feedback to make necessary adjustments. This agility allows us to remain competitive and attractive as an employer.

In summary, our Compensation Philosophy at DCC Automation is designed to be strategic, fair, transparent, and adaptable, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent while supporting our business objectives.
