Responsibilities:
- Assemble/ install industrial motor Control Panels using hand tools and power tools
- Mounting and wiring components such as VFDs, motor starters, relays, PLCs, and HMIs
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components
- Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnect wiring
- Cut, strip, bend, and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel box
- Identify and correct malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand tools
- Ensure continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure safety of system
- Work directly with engineering to resolve issues with layout/build to sustain scheduled delivery
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of electrical experience, with proficiency in reading electrical schematics and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop helpful but not necessary
- Knowledge in using hand tools, power tools, volt meter and other related electrical equipment
- Must be able to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be able to work on multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally left heavy objects
