Industrial Coatings/Concrete Finisher - Manhole Rehabilitation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Concrete preparation & rehabilitation for various types of structures found in water/wastewater industry. Ex: Manholes, lift stations etc.
• Must represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
• Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew
• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site.
• Set up traffic control, safety equipment, and installation equipment at the job site.
• Assist in measuring, marking, and preparing materials for installation.
• Enter below ground utility structures.
• Ensure the site is left clean before the crew leaves.
• Clean vehicles, equipment and keep the site organized and clean.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Comply with all corporate safety procedures.

Skills and Specifications
- Certifications for OHSA, Confined Space, First Aid & CPR

- Sandblasting

- Concrete finishing

- High performance (polyurea) coating installation.

- Capable of following instructions and learning tasks.

- Communication skills.

- Basic or advanced math skills.

- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and out of town.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and drivers license check.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
