Brief
Cardinal is looking for a result driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customers and potential prospects in liquid and powder coatings as well as complementary products (Equipment-Sundries-Aerosols-Among others).
Responsibilities
- Properly present, promote and sell Cardinal product offerings to existing and prospective customers in the region.
- Perform cost-benefit evaluations, based on Cardinal products and services.
- Establish, develop and maintain business and good customer relationships.
- Reach potential customers through self-developed leads and cold calls.
- Resolution of customer problems and complaints with the assistance of regional support managers and technical departments within Cardinal.
- Responsible for monthly pipeline, prospect accounts and status reports.
- Coordinate sales effort with regional manager, team members and any other departments within Cardinal Paint.
- Track Sales, territory potential, market trends, weaknesses and opportunities.
- Reports on customer requirements, problems, interests and competitors’ activities.
- Adhere to Cardinal policies and practices.
- Work with sales manager and marketing department to develop a Cardinal sales strategy for the territory using available Cardinal products and services.
Requirements
- Proven work experience and success as a Sales Representative.
- Knowledge in MS Office, email and reporting practices.
- Ability to build business relationships and open doors in a productive manor.
- Highly motivated, goal orientated, target driven, individual.
- Excellent communication, selling and negotiation skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Planning the path for success, maintaining outlook calendars, pre-authorizations on expenses, visualizing and deliver desired outcome with the support from regional manager.
- Responsible for existing Cardinal relationships and their proper management.
