Form of workThe primary purpose of this position is to manage the Indoor department's samples, filling samples requests, managing inventory levels, and forecasting samples usage.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations including but not limited to the following:
• Filling and sending all samples requests.
• Track inventory levels, project needs 60/90 days out for new Sample ordering (keep supply from depleting)
• Track Freight Costs per Region, supply totals to each RSM by the end of the month.
• Update and maintain data in our Relationship Management system SalesForce, tracking sample requests through SalesForce.
• Update Inside Sales Manager of samples needs with monthly reporting and forecasting.
• Keep the samples room clean and organized, ensure all samples are labeled correctly.
• Receipt and processing of marketing tools and samples
Receives and stores marketing tools and samples
Coordinates shipment of marketing tools and samples
Forwards samples by entering requests, arranging shipment, and notifying the customer
• Track Tradeshow Dates by Region / RSM, National Shows and coordinate needs for each Show with attendees
o Anticipate Ship Dates for timely / just-in-time Delivery
• Organize and ship material to Tradeshows, coordinate post-show shipping back to Calhoun/RSM.
• Manage sample budget, replenishment, dealing and negotiating with suppliers for samples production.
• Special project assignments in coordination with Inside Sales Team.
o Conduct all activities and engagements in a tactful and professional manner consistent with Tarkett Code of Ethics
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and Human Resources.
• Assist in the accomplishment of Company goals.
• Helps other employee to accomplish Company goals.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
Requirements and Education:
• 2+ years warehouse or logistics experience
• Computer knowledge: Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Syspro. Basic knowledge of Salesforce and SAP..
• Perform at a high level in a very fast paced environment.
• Flexibility, adaptability, manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
• Analytical and research skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
