Job description

Job Title: Director of Food and Beverage
Location: Orlando Area
Requirements: Must have independent background, no branded property experience. Only providing relocation to candidates inside the US.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join our luxury full-service boutique hotel located in the vibrant Orlando area. As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the F&B department, including banquets and catering, as well as managing six managers. Your primary focus will be on the evening operations of our four restaurants and lounges, with an emphasis on driving revenues and creating innovative and creative experiences for our guests. This position's typical hours of operation will be throughout evening dinner service.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the F&B department, including banquets and catering, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Manage six managers and provide leadership and guidance to the team to achieve exceptional results
  • Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing innovative F&B strategies, including menu design, promotions, and events
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and restaurant managers to ensure quality, consistency, and creativity in all F&B offerings
  • Monitor and analyze F&B trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for new revenue streams
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all F&B outlets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective F&B marketing campaigns
  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality products and services

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Food and Beverage management in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Strong understanding of F&B financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and profit and loss management
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Creativity and innovation in developing new F&B offerings and experiences
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Independent hotel or strong restaurant experience preferred

Benefits
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is between $130K and $145K per year, commensurate with experience. A bonus potential of up to 20% of the base salary is available based on performance. Relocation expenses will be covered, with a cap. Temporary housing in the hotel will be provided for up to 30 days.
