Would you be a great Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST)?

To thrive in the role of a Full-Time Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) there are and qualities that are essential for success. First and foremost, a good driving record is a must, as you will be responsible for transporting clients to various outings and activities. Additionally, a caring and understanding nature is crucial, as you will be working closely with individuals who may have experienced brain injuries. Being outgoing and personable is also important, as you will be facilitating social interactions and helping our clients feel comfortable and supported in their community engagements.

Your ability to empathize and connect with individuals will be invaluable in fostering a positive and trusting relationship. Prior experience working with brain injury survivors is highly desirable, as it will provide you with a foundation of knowledge and understanding of their unique challenges and needs.
