We are looking for delivery drivers for our water softener salt delivery service. Much like Doordash or Instacart, our drivers use their own cars, choose their own schedules and experience the freedom of operating as an independent contractor. Due to the nature of the job (delivering heavy, 40lb bags of salt to basements, garages, and porches) the pay is much better than other gig-economy apps AND we can give you routes to keep you busy and earning for a longer period compared to waiting around for orders.
This job requires individuals who are physically STRONG. This is an actual part of the interview process. We want to know that you will be able to carry 40lb bags of salt up and down stairs for hours at a time. This is why the pay is so much more competitive. On top of this, you will be delivering into customer homes so you will need to agree to a background check if asked for one and have good people skills as to give your customers a pleasant experience and earn better tips. Our app will make your job easy by providing you with routes and automated customer communication tools.
A truck, SUV, or van is preferred as salt bags are very heavy and add up quickly. Most days you will find yourself needing to load your vehicle with 500+ lbs of salt which can strain the payload capacity of standard sedans. However, if you are willing to do the work and a regular car is what you have, we can still work with that. It may just result in more trips to restock salt. If you own a truck, SUV, or van (even better, a cargo van) please give us a call. Your earnings potential can go up to $35/hr+ if you will are able to perform large routes.
THIS IS NOT FULL TIME. At least not yet. This position is meant for someone looking to make side income or additional income from their primary line of work- much like doing Instacart or Doordash. There is no guarantee of any amount of earnings. It all depends on how busy we are. Please do not apply if you need a source of primary income. This position is meant to be a "side hustle" of sorts.

Duties:
- Safely operate your own vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Delivery driving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including heavy lifting and moving of cargo
