Independent Contract Hybrid Battery Installer-Livermore, CA

Green Bean Battery was built around the core of creating a reliable reconditioned hybrid vehicle battery and extending the Hybrid Battery life. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to create a proprietary Hybrid Battery reconditioning process that puts our hybrid batteries in a league of their own.

We are currently looking for contract mobile installation technicians. This position allows installer contractors the flexibility to set their own availability and income potential. Most installations are accomplished in under an hour and you may have the opportunity to conduct several replacements in one day.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize own vehicle to travel throughout the assigned service area to deliver and install our hybrid batteries in a variety of vehicle makes and models with 5 star service. We recommend our installers to utilize the most fuel efficient vehicle they have for this role. Many of our contractors have hybrids themselves!
• Service our current warranty customers as needed
• Assist in driving business by providing top notch service to each customer and spreading the word about our product

Pay and Available Benefits:

• 1099 Independent Contractor Position (No health insurance, 401k, etc)
• Ability to set your own schedule, Part time or full time work available. We work around your schedule so you determine how much you make!
• Pay Flat Rate: $125-$375 per install job depending on travel time. The three categories of pay are 0-3 hours ($125), 3-5 hours ($250), and 5 plus ($250 for install plus $125 per diem). This is tracking the distance from an installer's home to the customer location utilizing Google Maps. Installers are capable of doing a max of 4-5 installs per day based on sales and your availability.

Let’s chat about the installer role If you:

• Have a reliable fuel efficient vehicle 30MPG or higher (Mandatory to be considered)
• Previous vehicle mechanic knowledge preferred
• Previous experience using Google Suite is a plus
• Are willing to travel within 5 hour radius (Some overnight travel may be required)
• Ability to lift 80 lbs unassisted several times throughout the day
• Ability to work in outside conditions such as; heat, cold, snow, and rain
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to supply your own basic hand tools (a list will be provided)
• Are felony and conviction-free
• Can pass a drug screen (THC Included in screen)
