In-person LPC and LCDC contractor (part time)

Rebirth Counseling, PLLC, and Rebirth Wellness Drug Treatment Program are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an LCDC/LCDC-Intern to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a clinician with our organization, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional mental health and substance abuse counseling services primarily to retired veterans, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-person counseling sessions with retired veterans dealing with various mental health and substance abuse issues.

2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.

3. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and promote positive change.

4. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

5. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

6. Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities provided by the organization.

7. Provide telehealth counseling services as needed, offering flexibility and accessibility to clients.

Requirements:

1. Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/ LCDC in Texas.

2. Experience working with veterans or individuals with trauma-related issues preferred.

3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

7. Understanding and adherence to ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.
