In-House Leasing Agent

Overview:

We are a family-owed real estate management and development company looking for an in-house Leasing Agent. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be primarily responsible for marketing and renting our properties. Duties:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Provide information on rental terms, policies, and procedures
- Assist with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property, including floor plans, amenities, and local area attractions
- Utilize Yardi to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain customer information
- Respond to inquiries from current and prospective tenants in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Assist with marketing efforts, such as creating online listings and promoting available properties.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes is a plus
- Knowledge of property leasing laws and regulations is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must have experience with Streeteasy
- Proficiency in using leasing software such as Yardi or OneSite is desirable
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
