In-Home Private Tutor-Special Education-North Katy/Cypress

Tutor Doctor of Katy is seeking an experienced, reliable tutor to provide in-home tutoring and academic support to a family with 2 early elementary age homeschool students in North Katy/Cypress/Bridgeland (zip code 77493 and 77449)

What we are looking for:

• Experienced tutors and teachers with early elementary experience who can help with Pre-k to 2nd grade Math, Reading, Phonics, Science, & Social Studies
• Experience with homeschool students
• Special Education Experience
• Available to work in North Katy/Cypress/Bridgeland Monday-Friday for 2 hour sessions at a time. This is a long term client
• Helping the student use strategies to focus and concentrate

Responsibilities:

• Providing instruction and helping with an online homeschool curriculum in Elementary Math, Reading, Science, English, and Social Studies
• Assisting with homework, assignments, test preparation, and projects across different grades
• Traveling to student's home
• Performing one-to-one tutoring sessions
• Assessing the student's knowledge and skills
• Communicating with parents and completing session reports
