We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and those in need of dementia care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and those in need of dementia care
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment if necessary
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
- Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors preferred
- Knowledge of systems related to developmental disabilities or senior care
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred but will assist with receiving if needed
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
