Position: Spanish-Speaking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Montgomery County
As a Spanish-Speaking CNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality homecare services to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their safety and comfort, and building strong relationships with them and their families. Your ability to communicate effectively in Spanish will be invaluable in providing personalized care and fostering a deeper sense of trust and understanding with our Spanish-speaking clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and skilled personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance, to clients in their homes.
- Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks under the direction of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and met.
Requirements:
- Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maryland.
- Proficiency in Spanish languages some English is ok, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and competency in providing personal care to individuals with diverse needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
