Right at Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual that enjoys improving the quality of life for others. Clients needs vary, but can include assistance with mobility, dressing, grooming, bathing, and cleaning. Duties may also include your help to prepare meals, give medication reminders, and assist with laundry and chores as needed.

Times: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Days: Monday - Friday and alternating weekends.
A Caregiver provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Performs various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, safety supervision and companionship activities for clients in their residences.

Essential Functions
Provides companionship for the client, accompanying them to an appointment, on a walk, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
Light housekeeping- vacuuming, dusting sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries. Provides supervision of safety for all activities of daily living, for example, bathing, dressing transfers, and ambulation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Valid automobile insurance
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
