Safe at Home Child Care is seeking a compassionate, in-home Child Care specialist for families in your area! The ideal candidate has previous childcare experience as well as adult care experience and a proven track record of providing excellent care. To accommodate the families professional careers, a caregiver offering flexible schedule options and experience in infant care is preferred. Safe At Home, a division of Kennedy Care , provides quality Child Care including backup Child Care and nanny services as well as adult care to employees of Ford Motor Company, University of Michigan, Michigan State University and the Detroit Lions, as well as scheduled in-home care for individual families.

Responsibilities and duties including but not limited, to the following:
Child care responsibilities:

• Engaging with children in activities and play that stimulates their development
• Providing interesting and fun activities that are age appropriate
• Establish a professional rapport and relationship with families in order to provide quality care and friendly service
• Communication with our SAH team and families
• Ensure the safety and well being of each child by responding to their emotional, social and physical needs

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including, but not limited to, eating, bathing, dressing, transferring, meal prep, light housekeeping duties, and maintaining continence
• Provide companionship and maintain healthy relationships with clients and families
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Actively participate in documenting and reporting changes in health or status of client

• Raise eligibility after 90 days
• Mileage reimbursement for backup care shifts
• Support from an admin team that care for their employees and families we service
• Additional training offered at no cost to employee including CPR certification
