Form of workThe Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This resort is home to the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royale Palms.
This position is ONLY for Current H2B holders who are already in the US and looking for a Summer extension for 2024. You must be eligible to work from April 1 to November 1, 2024 with no gaps in employment (10 day grace period allowed).
Requirements:
- Must be currently in the US on an H2B visa
- Must have a visa that expires on or after April 1st 2024 (10 day grace period allowed).
- Must still have a minimum of 6 months left on the 3 year maximum time allowed in the US
- A minimum of 2 months working in high volume housekeeping
Responsibilities
- Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
- Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis
- Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and own the responsibility to ensure that the items are replaced or repaired so as to create an uninterrupted or impaired stay for the Guest
- Ensure that all equipment inside and around Guest rooms as well as in work areas and used when performing housekeeping responsibilities is in working condition
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Carry out lost property procedures
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
