Job Summary: In-Church Service - Caregiver at Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit will provide compassionate and high-quality care to senior citizens during in-church services. This role is located in Lees Summit, Missouri and is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry. The individual in this role will work as an individual contributor and will be responsible for assisting senior church members with various tasks during in-church services on Sundays.

Church Services Hours: 9 am - Noon
Shift Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this role is $15 per hour and will be paid biweekly. In addition, this position offers the following benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Support client in a Southern Baptist church
- Provide care and support to senior citizens during in-church services
- Help with tasks such as getting to and from the service, carrying bags or personal items, and finding seating
- Engage in friendly and compassionate conversations with senior church members
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Monitor and assist with medication reminders, as directed by the client's primary caregiver
- Report any concerns or changes in the client's condition to the appropriate parties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handwashing and wearing personal protective equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from in-church services
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
