The Import Export/ Associate position is responsible for analyzing data, researching the root cause of any discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external resources to recommend and implement long-term corrective actions. The most important impacts for the organization are providing information and reports that enable good decision making, cost improvements, and accurate investments.
The main objective is to exceed customers’ expectations (both internal and external) in providing World-Class customer service demonstrated by exceptional communication and on-time delivery of raw materials, finished goods, parts and accessories, while optimizing total lowest logistics cost. Another role of this position is to acquire an advanced level of expertise and train/mentor others with best practices and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Inbound and Outbound Shipping Activities and resolve customer complaints
- Analyze reports and identify discrepancies and interpret and reconcile the data
- Assist in maintaining and updating corporate work instructions and compliance manuals. Help to develop and implement corporate wide audit process
- Conduct Denied Party Screening of new employees and vendors
