Major Responsibilities:
- Support the distribution centers with the preparation of export documentation for the efficient and lawful execution of all export activities
- Manage the daily export order download capturing open export orders that are ready for processing
- Manage denied party screening process
- Process export shipment through carriers’ software
- Verify paperwork and systems have the correct Schedule B Numbers, Export Classification Control Numbers (ECCN) and other critical data elements
- Work with freight forwarders or customs brokers in the collection and audit of EEI records as transmitted to U.S. Customs
- Support maintenance of all compliance records as outlined in the Company’s Recordkeeping Policy, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Coordinate training for Distribution Center Export Associates for daily order and export document processing
- Resolve import-Export Compliance issues as required
- Assist with product classification including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Schedule B, and Import-Export Control Classification Number (ECCN)
- Assist with International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Classification
- Address customer requests for international trade data (Schedule B, ECCN and country of origin).
- Serve as backup for import last mile team activities

Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, amongst other)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and exhibit excellent follow-up
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Import-Export shipment and compliance related activities

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
