Position Summary:
In this key role, the Project Engineer will work as part of the MES Project Team, working on delivering MES solutions successfully to our customers. Training will be provided, and you will have an opportunity to work with leading-edge technology in blue-chip multinational Food & Beverage companies. You will work as part of the Project Team across the full Implementation phase of the project-Requirements Gathering, Design, MES Configuration, Validation & Go Live. In this role, you will work to an ISO 9001-approved systems engineering methodology. Full training and ongoing support in Orbis application software will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Project Team delivering MES solutions for our customers.Understand Customer processes to ensure Project Deliverables are met.
- Actively participate in the configuration, testing and validation of MES Systems and any other related configuration as required.
- Under the project plan, follow the project workflow to meet the deadlines, set with the Project
- Engage with Customers at Project Meetings and follow up on Actions and Issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, information technology or related fields with sufficient IT experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer, working with Databases & SQL (candidates should have between 2-5 years of experience for our compensation range)
- Database Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge and practical experience with SQL databases and T-SQL codes. Ability to read, write, and modify Stored Procedures (Views, Functions,Triggers etc.).
- Industry knowledge in food and beverage processing would be considered an advantage.
- Experience in software project delivery for process-oriented environments would also be considered an advantage.
- You will be required to actively participate in the configuration, testing, and computer system validation of the MES Systems and any other related configuration as required
- Programming Technical Skills: Knowledge of a programming language. Version Control: GIT
