GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Implementation and Adoption Specialist is responsible for participating in implementation, testing, training, documentation and support of clinical and business electronic health record systems. Under the direction of leadership personnel, they work with customers to adopt and utilize IT applications in an efficient manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree or 2 years of college experience, OR more than 4 years experience in a physician practice, clinical setting or medical billing environment may be considered in lieu of college.
- One (1) year of professional experience in Information Technology, or in a medical office setting, or medical billing is required.
- Credentialing in Epic is required within six months of hire.
