Job description

Position

Be the difference and put your passion into action — join AmeriCorps! Across the country, fewer than one-third of our students are proficient in reading and math. Together we can help give kids more — more opportunities, more success and more confidence.

As an Impact Fellow, you will offer vital assistance to those who need extra help building math and reading skills. During the summer months, you will support academic enrichment activities designed to strengthen students’ skills. When school is in session, you’ll be placed at a local school to help preschoolers make a strong start, support K-3 students with reading, or work with K-8 students to build foundational math skills. Service locations may differ between the summer and school year.

With training and on-site coaching, you'll be equipped to help children thrive. Your commitment during the summer months and throughout the academic year guarantees a significant impact.

Join our AmeriCorps team! We're on a mission to help all children succeed and are actively seeking fellows for summer 2024 and the 2024-25 school year. Unleash your passion — become a Impact Fellow and be part of the change!
