Job description

Job Title: Immigration Specialist

Job location: Chicago, IL

Key responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Authority in US Employment Based Immigration ( H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3 etc)
  • Review of immigration procedures on legal status of foreign employees
  • We support quarterly compliance audits and supporting team members in implementing the immigration changes to process
  • Adhering to SLA's
  • We collaborate with Immigration legal team as and when required.
  • Regular communication with in-house counsel/attorney to understand the immigration requirement changes in acts / regulatory requirements and updating the SOP document accordingly and communicate the requirements to business on need basis.
  • Update and supervise visa status for all the assignees whose cases ae allocated for workings and the case status in the immigration tool as per the process.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of US business immigration experience as an Immigration guide in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Specific experience with H1B, L1 petition and RFE analysis, preparation, and evidence identification.
  • Strong drafting skills of immigration petitions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to respond to employee / business/ respective partners queries within 24
  • Strong proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
