At One You Love Homecare (OYLH), we have new cases starting in December and we're seeking compassionate caregivers to join our family in Chicago Near North. If you're a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Personal Care Technician (PCT) with a background in caring for patients, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Provide stabilization and balance supervision for fairly mobile patients.
- Assist with daily tasks, including bathing, grooming, and ambulatory support.
- Accompany patients to doctor's appointments via Uber, with transportation costs covered by the agency.
- Observe and document changes in patient conditions, behaviors, and environment.
- Serve as the eyes and ears of the client, ensuring their well-being.

Your Role in a Day:
As a Family Caregiver or Geriatric Care Companion, you'll be a supportive and compassionate individual, enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care. Your responsibilities include personal care assistance, companionship, and engagement in daily activities, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
What We Look For:
- Eagerness to learn and improve skills for quality care.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with confidence, seeking support from the team when needed.
- Understanding of the Plan of Care, with concise documentation and communication of client needs.
- Competency in using ambulatory devices: walking assists, hospital beds, and lift devices.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
Job Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
- Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week.
