Immediate Openings - Play Therapists And Licensed Clinical Social Workers

DC Core Service Agency seeking clinicians to provide psychotherapy services on a part-time basis. We are an innovative agency seeking DC licensed clinicians who are trained and experienced in play therapy for children ages 4-13. Play therapists must have evening and/or weekend availability. In addition, we are seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers interested in working with older adults. All staff must have be committed to community-based work particularly around violence prevention, trauma, group and/or play therapy with an emphasis on cultural competence. Apply if interested.

**Candidates must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW**

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical role to include Individual, Family, and Group Counseling

• Completes psychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, outpatient assessments, person-centered treatment plans, and family/individual therapy.
• Provides culturally specific, results-driven care.
• Provides evidence-based psychotherapy for clients who present with various concerns.
• Make recommendations related to the care needs regarding the clients’ health and safety.
• Prepare discharge summaries

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline is required.
• Must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW
• Must have at least 1 – 4 years of work experience in working with individuals (play therapist must have training and experiencing working with children and adolescent counseling), DSM-V diagnosis, skill training, and other rehabilitation supports (including trauma informed care) preferred for at-risk children, youth and adults.
• Ability to provide Telehealth and Office-Based Services

Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience
