Immediate Opening for Assistant Teacher - Sunrise School of Ormond Beach

Sunrise School of Ormond Beach, a private K-8 elementary school inspired by the principles of Waldorf education, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Support Assistant to join our growing team. This unique position offers the opportunity to be closely involved in the daily operations and growth of our school, providing direct support to the Head of School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in classrooms and working directly with students to facilitate their learning and development.
• Undertaking light cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are welcoming and conducive to our educational ethos.
• Running errands and performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the school.
• Providing personal assistance to the Head of School, including but not limited to scheduling, organizing, and any other tasks that contribute to the efficiency of school leadership.
• Engaging with students one-on-one or in small groups to support their educational journey.
