SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Quantitative Imaging Analysis Core in Quantitative Imaging analytics and to provide imaging analytics support to investigators.

Key Functions
  1. Responsible for assessment & Collection of quantitative data; viewing lesions and determining baseline and follow-up measurements, metastatic disease, tumor/lesion size and location. (40%)
  2. Responsible for image processing including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, and other related activities into QIAC specific server for further review/analyses. (10%)
  3. Coordinates, documents and maintains all interpretations performed on clinical trail data and assists in the organization, tabulation and analysis of data under the general supervision of management and/or Faculty leadership. (25%)
  4. Proactively collaborates with faculty and staff across multiple departments in the institution to resolve issues/identify solutions; requiring strong problem solving and analytical skills focused on results. Works with physicians to address any discrepancies related to image findings. (10%)
  5. Work closely with management personnel to identify future needs and to design/program systems that provide efficient workflow processes, including further integration with MDACC EHR and other proprietary systems; conducts user acceptance testing (UAT). (10%)
  6. Other duties as assigned. (5%)

Required education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Medical Imaging or related field.
Required experience: One year experience in medical imaging or medical sciences.
