Job description

Job Title: iLogistics District Sales Manager
Location(s): Remote (U.S.)
Pay Range: $140K to $160K
Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of Key Account Managers and Distribution Channel Manager who are responsible for researching, identifying, and generating net new opportunities at both existing accounts and projected growth accounts in the AIDC / Intelligent Logistics markets.
  • Building, qualifying, and managing an accurate and growing sales funnel using Salesforce for the accounts and Key Account team members that they are assigned.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing and Product Sales Management organizations in development of key account strategy and demand generation activities required in both geographical territories as well as vertical markets that they are assigned.
  • Establishing metrics for success for the Key Account Managers and reporting progress on a regular basis back to the senior management and executive teams.
  • Reviewing contracts and agreements from the Key Account Management team – conducting first pass reviews before signature by an Advantech executive.
  • Conducting Quarterly or Semi-Annual Business Reviews with Key Account Managers at strategic accounts throughout the territory.
  • Assisting with quota setting and management for the Key Account Management team.
  • Running weekly and or bi-weekly Key Account Management calls to sync on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Semi-Regular travel with Key Account Managers to ensure Advantech’s value proposition is clearly communicated and received at accounts within the assigned market
  • Perform market research of designated region/district to identify target customers, channel, and go-to-market strategy
  • Building relationships and business plans with VP and C-level contacts at Channel Partners and volume distributors such as BlueStar.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in hiring, coaching, and driving a sales team.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the AIDC and/or embedded computing market selling through channel partners, distributors and systems integrators.
  • Demonstrates high performance and extensive relationships to bring multi-million dollars net new business.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MS or MBA is a plus.
  • Broad familiarity with demand generation tools including Salesforce.com, Data.com, LinkedIn, and other similar tools is required.
