A coach for teachers in the OVEC Computer Science Micro-Credentials program plays a vital role in providing guidance, support, and mentorship to elementary and middle school math teachers as they participate in online professional learning. This position requires a deep understanding of the BloomBoard OVEC Computer Science Micro-Credentials platform, pacing, and planning required to progress through the six micro-credentials within a school year, how to prepare and upload lesson artifacts in the BloomBoard platform, and requirements for meeting grant fidelity measures (curriculum alignment, family engagement, BloomBoard Success Academy, and ongoing coaching).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A current Kentucky certification in elementary or secondary education, issued by the Office of Educator Licensure and Effectiveness is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a elementary or middle school math teacher.
Completion of six micro-credentials in the OVEC Computer Science Micro-Credentials program.
