Essential Duties:
- Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids, used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is fixed.
- Ensuring that they are thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility.
- Maintaining proficiency in using the inspection aids in their assigned area.
- Understanding the current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
- Provide timely quotes of units.
- Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by this repair station.
- Comply with all safety directive and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Should be able to read read basic inspection tools such caliper, micrometer, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments, completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Understands, reads, and writes English.
- 2-3 years' experience preferably in an MRO environment.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting IDG/GEN Components
