As part of our commitment to safeguarding our digital assets, we are seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our Jersey City office.
As an Identity and Access Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our digital identities, access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of IAM principles, a strong technical skill set, and a passion for enhancing cybersecurity.
- Design, implement, and manage the firm’s next gen Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Administer user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, ensuring timely and accurate Access Management.
- Develop and enforce access policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Provide expertise and support during audits and assessments related to IAM practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of security strategies.
- Implement and optimize Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to enhance user experience and security.
- Lead incident response efforts related to identity and access security incidents.
- 8 years+ working in Identity and Access Management or Cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of IAM principles, protocols, and industry best practices.
- Subject matter expertise with run-time platforms & technologies like Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML and Public Key Infrastructures.
- Experience implementing a third-party identity management system like SailPoint or Saviynt is a strong plus.
- Experience working with third party IDP and SSO tools (i.e., Ping Identity, ForgeRock) to implement federated authentication with SaaS applications.
- Subject matter expertise with Linux and Windows operating systems and security internals.
- Proficiency in scripting and software development, particularly with platforms such as PowerShell, Python, and C#.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, regulations, and security certification (i.e., SAS 70, SOC 1).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (i.e., CISSP) are a plus.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $150,000 - $185,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
