Objective
A Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This role is vital to the success of our company, as our Warehouse Associates are ensuring that our customers’ orders are correct and undamaged. The Warehouse Worker will load and unload delivery trucks, pull shipping tickets, and perform other warehouse duties as required in a prompt and safe manner.
Essential Job Functions
Properly stock inventory in the warehouse to ensure safety and cleanliness
Accurately load and unload delivery trucks
Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, clamps, etc. to move material about the warehouse
Pulls shipping tickets
Conduct cycle counts of inventory as required through Total Warehouse Logistics system
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience working in a warehouse preferred
Experience operating a forklift preferred
Basic computer skills preferred
Physical Requirements
The work is performed in non-climate controlled environment with moderate noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; climb portable ladders; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull; and reach overhead. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. The employee should never attempt to lift more than 50 pounds.
