Job Description
As an Idaho Expansion Training Systems Specialist, you will provide site support for training and development programs, systems, compliance, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include support of project management, as well as the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training content and training programs.
As a part of the Workforce Development team, you may also facilitate company on-boarding, maintain training records, materials, and forms, teach classes and workshops as needed, and assist in the presentation of material for different initiatives. You can expect to process training requests, conduct needs analyses, and resolve alignment with the business needs of the organization. In this role, you will identify key projects, establish time lines and the allocation of resources, and conduct evaluation measures to determine efficiency.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Deliver Training to ensure compliance around Training Systems
  • Demonstrates understanding of group dynamics
  • Partner with Workforce Development team around appropriate Training Systems locally and globally

Administer Systems
  • Acts as an authority on all software applications used daily in the Training environment
  • Acts as a training resource for multiple applications relevant to the Training Group
  • Recommends upgrades and system improvements to leadership groups
  • Partners with global teams to ensure consistency across system usage

Develop and Design Solutions
  • Establishes effective learning objectives for course material, ensures tie-in across related outcomes (assessments, certifications, etc.)
  • Selects, adapts, and creates designs appropriate for the project, ensures alignment with company initiatives
  • Uses basic concepts to design visual aids for display, projection, or handling
  • Analyzes collected data for the development of instructional materials
  • Understand training platforms and training needs of Idaho Expansion

Support Organizational Change
  • Supports and facilitates organizational change with regard to system trainings
  • Uses acquired knowledge of the organization's vision, strategy, goals, business issues, and culture to promote ideas
  • Designs a plan for assessing needs using appropriate methodologies
  • Solves problems, finding performance improvement opportunities and develops understanding of employee learning needs

Evaluates learning, performance and instructional effectiveness
  • Coach and Mentor groups on effective Training Systems and processes
  • Coaches and mentors team members on internal/external Career development
  • Mentors other personnel and provides coaching where required
  • Regularly monitor training system effectiveness to ensure current and up to date material

Facilitate
  • Initiates and facilitates group discussions or activities in multiple areas of development, improvement, strategic planning and problem solving
  • Schedules and facilitates cross functional team meetings concerning organizational improvements and problem solving
  • Facilitates groups in areas such as team development, process improvement, strategic planning, problem solving, etc.

Manage Projects
  • Leads multi-dimensional complex projects of critical importance to Micro
  • Engages in global change management processes as the business changes
  • Uses project management skills to motivate stalled projects
  • Coordinate Training with applicable multi-functional teams
  • Works with assigned team members to coordinate long term training solutions for course delivery
  • Partners with management in developing implementation strategies for the deployment of significant training initiatives

Education
  • Bachelors or relevant experience

Experience
  • Ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in Workforce Development (Semiconductor/Manufacturing preferred)
