Job Description Summary
The Inclusion and Diversity ("I&D") Manager will play an important role in assisting with the design and execution of our I&D strategy, programming and communications by identifying best practices and leveraging data/analytics to measure progress and identify opportunity areas. Reporting into the Sr. Director, I&D, this individual contributor role will collaborate with multiple individuals and teams across the company to ensure our I&D programs and initiatives align with CCC's values of diversity and inclusive culture.
Job Duties
Employee Resource Group Management:
- Provides direct management of our existing employee resource groups, as well as supports the launch of new ERGs.
- Establishes foundational processes and deliverables, including templates for strategic plans, operating plans, communication protocols, and year-end reviews.
- Assists with the recruitment and selection of ERG leadership teams, including leader succession planning.
- Helps review and manage budgets for ERGs.
- Maintains and enhances ERG Leader Playbook.
- Keeps current on ERG and I&D best practices, updates, and trends to integrate as appropriate.
- Works cross functionally with Marketing, Internal Communications, Finance, and other groups to support our ERGs.
Training and Development:
- Collaborates with the People and Culture team and Employee Development team to develop I&D learning opportunities for senior leaders, middle management, and individual contributors using available resources and tools to support learning
- Owns vendor relationship with outside learning partners
- Develops and distributes learning content through internal channels (e.g., SkillJar (our LMS) and our Sharepoint-based intranet), and coordinates training registration and participant feedback surveys.
- Develops metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of training and I&D programs.
- Builds ERG leader onboarding plan and ongoing learning and development path.
Communication Support:
- Coordinates implementation, communication, and change management plans as necessary for all ERG and I&D initiatives.
- Collaborates with Internal Communications and Marketing in the development of content for internal and external I&D communication vehicles, including new Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") disclosures, weekly newsletters, careers page, and intranet.
Qualifications
- Must possess a demonstrated passion for the work in DEI
- Excellent analytical and computer skills which will include MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Project management and change management skills
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both with and without supervision
- Previous management of ERGs strongly preferred
- Hybrid role - must be able to come into the office 2 days a week at most
