Overnight Shift Differential: $2.50 per hour
We are currently looking to hire an ICU Overnight Veterinary Technician/Out Patient Tech to join our team! Our ideal candidate has clinical experience and exposure to small animal practice, and a strong focus on exceptional patient care with an understanding of the importance of client communication. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, organized, and willing to learn new skills.
The veterinary industry is constantly changing and advancing I-20 Animal Medical Center encourages its staff to do the same. We are looking for an ICU Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary care team and provide medical, anesthetic, and surgical assistance as needed. Our next team member must be a bright, responsible, self-motivated individual who is in it for the animals and their owners. He or she must be comfortable with speaking to owners, providing and explaining treatment plans, and triage. Proficiency in anesthesia, dentistry, and animal nursing is crucial.
Skillset to include:
- Customer care.
- Blood draw.
- Medication knowledge.
- TPR and history
- CornerStone exp a plus but not required.
- Skills test required.
Responsibilities:
- This will require fast pace, extreme knowledge, and impeccable client and patient care.
- You will need to work with Doctors, CSR's, and all staff seamlessly.
- This will include emergency and critical care as well as long-term and routine care.
