- AV (autonomous vehicle) cleaning and disinfection.
- AV operational safety and integrity checks.
- AV charging.
- AV launch preparation includes systems fire up checks.
- Parking and staging vehicles.
- Manual driving of vehicles between facilities and to charging locations.
- Lost and found procedures.
- Participate in the ongoing training and mentoring of new Pit Crew Operators.
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed, including those in support of AV testing, delivery, and other community support and/or pilots.
- Active California Basic Class C driver's license or license encompassing Class C vehicles.
- Regularly perform physical work including, but not limited to, stooping, lifting, and moving up to 30 pounds, and walking up and down flights of stairs.

- Licensed to drive a motor vehicle in the U.S. for the three years immediately preceding
- Regularly perform physical work including, but not limited to, stooping; lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds; and walking up and down flights of stairs.
- Must type a minimum of 20 wpm.
