Ice Cream Shop Supervisor ~ Fun Summer Job!

Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking a supervisor for Mad Hatter’s Scoops, the sweetest spot in Killington! This is a fun and exciting growth opportunity for someone who is hospitality-oriented, outgoing, and hardworking.

The role of the Mad Hatter’s Supervisor, or as we like to call it —the Scooper Super— is to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations by managing resources and employees in order to create a fun environment for guests and staff.

As the Supervisor, you will manage inventory and resources, and ensure that quality and safety controls are followed. You will train employees, create schedules, and coordinate special events and day-to-day activities while promoting a positive atmosphere that focuses on our team, guests, and community.

Scoopers create fun and memorable experiences for our guests by scooping Ice Cream, making Ice Cream sundaes, and milkshakes. Duties include greeting customers, answering questions, suggesting flavors, preparing orders correctly, collecting payment, and maintaining inventory. Scoopers must be able to function in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean and organized workplace. Ideal candidates are friendly, enjoy talking to people, are organized with good attention to detail, and are hard-working and reliable.

This is a full-time summer seasonal position with part-time hours beginning immediately.

• Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a memorable guest experience

• Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties

• Must be able to follow cleaning charts, prep lists, sanitation procedures, and perform quality and consistency checks

• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but we will train the right person!

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
