Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a great opportunity to work in the food industry and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with menus
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the cash register or POS system
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required (July 4th is required)
