SalaryLooking for someone that is interested in training as an Ice cream maker in the warm months and will help us in our cafe making sandwiches, salads in the colder months. Our Ice cream shop Grassroots Ice Cream is award winning fabulous Ice cream shop that specializes in wickedly creative Ice cream. Next door is our sister restaurant Deep Roots Street food, a modern quick-serve restaurant with lots of vegan and vegetarian options made from scratch global street food. Our business is environmentally conscious and We work hard to maintain a positive work environment where we all pitch in and help each other out. If you love food and have a positive attitude then come work for our fast creamery and kitchen. This is a year-round position.
Year-round Responsibilities might include.
- Training to make Ice cream in an efficient precise manner.
- Baking items to be included in the Ice cream.
- Food Prep in the morning or evening for the restaurant.
- Restocking
- Team effort Cleaning Kitchen- Sweeping, Mopping, dishes as needed, etc.
- Cooking orders in an efficient/ timely manner.
- Helping around the restaurant as needed.
Required Work Experience/Skills/Education
- Desire and drive to learn new skills
- Must be over 18
- Must have transportation
