Position Summary
Working in the retail environment, a manager provides courteous and knowledgeable customer service through excellent product knowledge, intuitive skills, and friendly customer interactions. Managers support all sales efforts through hospitable customer service, and a commitment to quality standards established by Cones and Coffee. Tips serve as an additional income with cash tips dispersed daily and credit card tips dispersed bi-weekly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with all customers providing everyone with an excellent experience.
- Prepare Ice Cream with acute attention to the standards of quality established by Coral Cones.
- Prepare coffee with acute attention to the standards of quality established by Pumphouse Coffee Roasters.
- Maintain product knowledge regarding all Ice Cream and Coffee beverages while staying up to date on seasonal menu changes. Managers must also be able to accurately communicate product information to customers, respond to questions, orders and concerns.
- Taste coffee each shift worked to improve product knowledge and troubleshoot any product inconsistency.
- Properly handle and maintain all Ice Cream and Coffee equipment.
- Contribute to store profitability by following cash handling and cash register policies and procedures.
- Assist in the training and development of current and new employees.
- Offer relevant, well thought out ideas and suggestions for improving daily operations.
- Managing shift schedules.
- Managing inventory.
- Attend all individual and company scheduled training sessions and staff meetings to constantly advance education of Ice Cream, coffee, merchandise, and espresso bar skills.
- New hiring.
- Working on bar with team participating on shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Retail and/or customer service experience required.
- Some coffee experience preferred.

Language Skills:
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently. Spanish is helpful.
