The Coder performs diagnostic and procedural coding for accurate DRG, severity of illness, and risk of mortality assignment.
Requires Skills
- 3+ years of Inpatient Coding experience
- Experience with 4 chart types necessary
- Minimum of 1 Coding certification necessary - CPC, CCA, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT
- Ideally - experience with 3M Encoder
- Ideally - familiarity with Epic EMR Software
